IBM Selects Printronix RFID Technology

"Printronix Inc. , the leading integrated supply-chain printing solutions manufacturer, announced today that IBM has extended its agreement with the company. Under the terms of the agreement, IBM will continue to use Printronix technology for its line matrix and thermal bar code printers. In addition, IBM has expanded the agreement by adding Printronix’s worldwide leading radio frequency identification (RFID) encoding technology to its product portfolio. IBM introduced the Infoprint 6700 on June 13, 2005, at the IDC RFID Update conference in Boston.
