Savi Technology Brings RFID To The Battlefield

"Savi Technology Inc., a company using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to manage supply chains, Tuesday introduced an RFID system that can be used to track military supplies on a battlefield. The Sunnyvale company released a portable deployment kit (PDK) that can be set up on short notice in a remote area to track supplies directly to "the last tactical mile" of a field of operations."
