Companies to promote Dallas area as 'RFID Hub'

"Over the last few years, the Dallas area has earned an unofficial reputation as a national center for the development of the wireless technology known as RFID. Dozens of radio frequency identification companies will gather in Richardson to formally unveil their slogan for the region: Dallas The RFID Hub. "Dallas has the opportunity to be a major world player in RFID," said Allan Griebenow, president and chief executive officer at Carrollton-based Axcess Inc.
