LXE to Comply With RoHS Directive

"LXE, a developer of rugged mobile RFID tag-reading technologies, said this week that it will comply with the European Union's (EU) Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) directive by the July 6, 2006, deadline and will meet the requirements of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) legislation in each member state. LXE said it would begin shipping RoHS-compliant products into the EU by the second quarter of 2006.
