"Supertex, a recognized leader in high voltage analog and mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs), today introduced the HV841 and the HV839, two high voltage driver ICs designed to drive two electroluminescent (EL) lamps with a combined area of up to 3.5 square inches. They deliver low noise, highly efficient backlighting solutions for dual LCD and keypad applications such as mobile phones and other portable devices. Additionally, Supertex announced new packaging options for the HV839, a dual EL lamp driver with a nominal regulated output voltage of 90V.
