AVX tantalum capacitors available for RoHS-exempt apps
"Responding to the requirements of customers who are exempt from the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive, AVX Corp. recently developed a tin-lead finish version of its conformally-coated tantalum radial leaded capacitor, which was initially introduced as the first lead-free component of its kind in January 2005. The new TEP series capacitors offer a capacitance range of 0.1µF to 330µF with a capacitance tolerance of &plsumn;10 percent or ±20 percent. They also are available in a wide selection of case sizes (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P and R) and voltage ratings (6.3-, 10-, 16-, 20-, 25-, 35- and 50V) to meet virtually any application requirement."
