"I know RoHS is coming, but do I really need to worry about it yet? RoHS compliance is currently only applicable to products having an end market in Europe and that fall within a category that requires compliance. For example, the automotive and medical sectors are currently exempt. If your market excludes Europe then currently you do not need to worry about it. However, it is quite likely that other markets may head down a similar path with regards to RoHS requirements and you may be required to comply in the future.
