Tiny RoHS-compliant SMD rectifier diodes are 78% smaller

"A new series of RoHS compliant, ultra-small surface mount rectifier diodes is now available, from Easby Electronics. With a footprint reduced by 78% and packages just 0.9mm high, they are seen as ideal for automatic insertion in compact portable devices. The RoHS-compliant TS4148 high speed diodes offer an equivalent to the universally popular 1N4148 diode. The TS4148 range is available in standard 1206, 0805 and 0603 surface-mount packages, significantly simplifying handling compared with traditional rounded MELF packages.
