UMD OIT Stomps Spam

"After UMD students and faculty were recently bombarded with spam in their university e-mail accounts, the Office of Information Technology is replacing a newly installed spam filter with the one it previously used. “[The program] will look for keywords, drug names, spaces, capitalization — key phrases that are tip-offs there might be spam,” Huskamp said."
