Cannes to Honor 'Star Wars' Lucas

The Cannes International Film Festival readied a tribute to "Star Wars" creator George Lucas and an honor for his more than 30-year career, the BBC reports. The American, whose "Revenge of the Sith" is the latest in a "Star Wars" franchise that has sold $3.5 billion in tickets worldwide, is slated to receive the Cannes Festival Trophy aboard the Queen Mary II during the 11-day festival.
